We have a little visitor for awhile.
Jayne's sister Jador is here in Iowa, and she's a total sweetheart. Aryn and I are working on turning her into a well rounded girl - getting her used to "pet" life, starting her in obedience, getting her out for some extra socialization and playtime. Rocket loves her, Jayne loves her, Kaylee is fine with her. Talla and Revy think she's entertaining.
It's interesting to see different personalities in a family group. Jador is the sweetest Doberman I've ever met - like a big blob of pink frosting on top a confetti cupcake. Her brother Jayne, on the other hand, is bold and carefree and silly, but more serious. And Kaylee? Well, if Jador is a cupcake, Kaylee is a medium-rare top sirloin and a shot of whiskey!
She had her first training session this afternoon. Heeling went well, she decided the box was pretty cool, but drop was not in the cards today. Aryn's usual method of teaching drop went hilariously wrong when Jador decided to fold herself into a fortune cookie!
Aryn thinks she can turn it into a cute little bow though, so it wasn't a complete loss.
I can't say for sure how long she'll be here, but she's welcome to stay as long as she needs. BOX!
